catherine hills
Catherine is inspired by natural forms. Her work combines sensuous liquid shapes with smooth, crisp, highly textured surfaces.
The work is organic, and movement plays a part in most pieces. Whilst Catherine uses textures and shapes from nature, there is a high tech, futuristic aspect to her work.
Oxidised silver is used in juxtaposition with yellow gold and coloured glass, or stone, to produce a striking colour contrast.
